DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, your main responsibility will be to oversee the Minerals Data and Financial Management Section in the Minerals Division of the Bureau of Forestry, which falls under the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
Your role will involve providing leadership and supervision for data systems management, compliance, accounting, and auditing of oil and gas leases issued by the Commonwealth on state forest, state park, publicly owned streambeds, and other Commonwealth-owned lands managed by the Department of General Services.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing complex natural gas production and financial data related to Pennsylvania's geologic resource contracts, as well as overseeing audits conducted under the terms of those leases.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Alternate work schedule is available Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Natural Resource Program Specialist 2 (commonwealth title); or Four years of professional experience in natural resource management or natural resource education; and a bachelor's degree in natural resource management, parks and recreation, education, biology, forestry, ecology, geosciences, environmental sciences, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
