*Help Needed with PS5 Controller* (Camp Hill/Lower Allen Twp.)

Hello, I could use some help with a stick drift issue with a Playstation 5 wireless controller.
Some scum-ball on FB Marketplace sold my wife a defective controller.
He thinks it's a big joke, unfortunately, and has no intention of making it right.

It's a shame; this was meant for my son so that we could play games together.
I've tried resetting the controller and made an attempt to blow air into the area to clear dust/debris.
I've read that you can take apart the controller and replace the stick, but I don't have any experience with that and don't want to make things worse here.
If someone out there knows how to fix this issue so that we have an operable controller, it would be a real blessing to us.
Unfortunately, you just can't trust people anymore, I guess.
