Retail Supervisors are responsible for assisting the Retail Area Manager in the overall day-to-day operations within the Shops at the Hotel Hershey.
Primary responsibilities include selling merchandise to guests, planning and implementing display changes, meeting or exceeding revenue goals, leading the training of new staff, maintaining inventory integrity, serving as the Supervisor-On-Duty for the Retail department, and assisting with personnel functions.
Retail Supervisors will oversee the operations of Signatures or Chic Boutique retail boutiques provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service to all guests of the Hotel Hershey, and assist in achieving the department’s goals for the year.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Work with a team of part-time staff during shift; plan and assign daily tasks and responsibilities to meet customer needs and maintain store appearance standards.
* Ensure the store is stocked and assist with inventory management tasks to include placing product orders, completing inventory transfers, entering inventory markouts, and maintaining inventory integrity.
* Assist with inventory control and shrink prevention by following department SOPs.
* Monitor daily revenue to ensure the store is meeting financial objectives.
Regularly communicate with Area Manager regarding reorders and top selling items.
* Provide exceptional guest service through the proper training of new team members within your assigned store location.
* Resolve immediate guest concerns, investigate, and implement changes to correct and prevent recurring guest service issues.
* Maintain rapport with Front Desk and answer guest inquiries, in person, and over the phone in a timely manner.
* Monitor employee hours and schedules to remain in compliance with child labor laws and ensure that all staff are preventing violations.
* Follow all cash handling procedures in accordance with Resorts Revenue Group SOPs.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years of related experience.
Industry Experience - Retail Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
18 years of age or older.
Completion of high school or GED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees.
Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
Must be able to lead and direct a team of part-time staff to maintain inventory levels and complete daily tasks.
Must be able to train and motivate team members to ensure quality results are achieved.
Must be able to speak and read the English language.
Effective communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image representative of the property image.
