General Responsibilities:
Oversees the overall clinical care being provided to residents and ensures a high degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Provides direct care to residents in the absence of, or to complement, subordinate staff.
Plans and maintains staff patterns for licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel that ensures adequate coverage according to established parameters and efficiently utilizes all levels of personnel; ensures employees’ attendance is documented and that these records are maintained.
Education/Training: Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in a long- term care geriatric setting and/or acute care and a minimum of one (1) year experience working as a charge nurse in a long-term care geriatric setting preferred.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
