Paratransit Van Driver

We currently have openings for a wheelchair van driver to transport the community in the local vicinity.
*Primary Responsibilities:* * Transport patients in a safe manner to and from destinations on time by following a transportation schedule.
* Safely and efficiently operate a van to transport passengers * Communicate with passengers or customers in a friendly and professional manner * Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passenger safety, comfort and satisfaction * Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company van at all times * Complete necessary paperwork or documentation for each trip or delivery *Hours of Operation:* Monday-Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm *Requirements:* * Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Must have a clean background * Previous experience as a van driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, limousine driver, or paratransit driver is preferred * Must be willing to drive in the local vicinity and surrounding areas.
* Must be willing to able to push 100+ pounds on a wheelchair.
* Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers * Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns * Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals * Must be dependable and able to arrive to pickups on time.
* Must have excellent communication skills *Looking to hire immediately!* Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $15.
