Class A Truck Driver

If you are interested in joining a team-oriented group and are motivated, hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn, we want to talk to you! SUMMARY OF POSITION We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team in Dillsburg, PA.
This person will be responsible for transporting and hauling equipment and supplies from one location to another.
Work is primarily in South Central PA, Maryland and surrounding areas.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Complies with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations Maintains driving log/records according to state and federal regulations Secures all loads according to state and federal regulations Completes pre-post trip vehicle inspection reports On a daily basis, will drive a manual Lowboy Truck Travels from job site to job site when/as needed Follows schedule for pick-ups and deliveries Clearly communicates with Operations team Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures Keeps the interior and exterior of truck clean Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team Performs other general labor duties and responsibilities as assigned Follows all company rules, regulations, policies and guidelines REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age or older Commercial Driver’s License A is required; must have and maintain a clean driving record Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
Must be reliable and have the ability to work overtime as required Must pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules Understands oral and written instructions Possesses a good sense of direction Experience with construction equipment; is a plus We offer competitive wages based upon experience.
